5 International Airlines Confirms To Resume Its Operations As Kenya Re-opens Airspace.

Five major international Airlines have confirmed to resume flights in and out of Kenya following the President’s move early this month to re-open the economy.

Tourism CS, Najib Balala on Sunday 26 July revealed the Airlines to be British Airways, Qatar Airways, KLM, Air France and Emirates.

The Emirates will be the first airline to resume on July 28 as it’s set to offer repatriation flight from Nairobi to Dubai.

The second airline will be the British Airways which will operate flight weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday as from 1st August.

KLM and Qatar Airways will resume their flights on 3rd August 2020. KLM will offer four weekly flights same as the British Airways.

Air France will resume on August 6 and will only be flying to Paris on every Friday. Qatar which will be offering 14 weekly flights advised its travelers to check information provided by their destination country before boarding.

As it had been announced earlier, visitors jetting in will be exempted from quarantine (unless they show Covid symptoms) and the curfew.
