A suspect in Uashin Gishu county has slit his throat with a kitchen Knife to avoid arrest, the suspect was among the other three robbers who are said to have attacked and mugged a Boda Boda rider using machetes.
With the aid of a tracker placed in the bike, the victim with other community members alerted the police and traced the thugs.
The Three suspects – Zedrick Mulama, Robert Safari and Silas Lugalia were all cornered and arrested at Soy, where upon rigorous search, three other motorcycles were also recovered.
The three other suspects are in police custody while investigations are underway.
