Bars to Be Closed For Thirty More Days as Dusk to Dawn Curfew Continues

The president while addressing the Nation on Wednesday from statehouse extended the closure of bars to thirty more days.

He then directed the Ministry of Health to meet up with bar owners and come up with proper resumption guidelines within the same period.

The dusk to dawn curfew also extends to thirty days while restaurants closing time changes from 7 pm to 8 pm.

In the next 30 days, bar owners, in consultation with the Ministry of Health will develop self-regulating mechanisms as part of their civic responsibility to their clientele, in order to allow their resumption.”
