Chief Justice Wants Uhuru To Dissolve Parliament.

Chief Justice David Maraga has advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve Parliament for failing to ratify the two-third gender rule.

In an advisory letter date September 21, CJ Maraga stated he was responding following six petitions seeking his take on the matter.

“The petitions are based on the ground that despite four court orders compelling parliament to enact the legislation, parliament has blatantly failed, refused or neglected to do so…,” said the CJ.

He further claimed it was his constitutional duty as the Chief Justice to advise Uhuru. “Let us endure pain if we must..,” he said.
