Chris Msando passed away back in 2017 before the elections. He was murdered while working as an ICT manager at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
A few days ago Chris Msando’s family celebrated his 3rd anniversary since he passed away and in attendance was Rosely Akombe.
The former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Commissioner Rosely Akombe is among those who have vowed to look for justice in Msando’s murder case. She had to quit her job at the IEBC because of pressure at work.
On a post today morning, Rosely Akombo while replying to Boniface Mwangi’s tweet on urging the law society of Kenya to live up to its reputation, Rosely Akombo tweeted in response:
”Now that we are on our Nelson Havi appreciation day, may I indulge you with a request? On this anniversary of my colleague Msando’s murder, could you take this case up in the public interest? As I have said in the past, I am ready to testify,” affirmed Akombe.
This comes as a new twist to the murder case of Chris Msando as earlier on no witnesses came forth to testify.
