Media personality and radio host Ciku Muiruri has announced she is ready to listen to men who are struggling or sort of in a problem at a fee of Ksh 5,000.
In a long post on her Facebook, Muiruri mentioned men did not have a place or rather someone to vent to and she has decided to help but at a fee.
“I’am starting hour-long calls with men who need to unload about their lives, relationships, fears, whatever is weighing you down. What you cannot tell anyone else. I’ll give a listening ear and the best advice I can. All content is confidential,” read an excerpt of the post.
With an affirmation she said, ” No judgement here. Just listening ear.” She said the therapeutic kind a of session will be over the phone as measure to combat the spread of the corona virus.
Ciku alleged that men found it rough as most of them went silent on issues affecting them or rather lacked someone to confide with.
“Who do you share with when you have no money? Not your friends. They are there for sports and deals. You will never let them see you cry. Who do you talk to if you feel broken? If you need restoration?” she posed.
This stirred different reactions as some believed the step she had taken would bare great fruits as some said that was too costly.
“The most ridiculous thing I have seen this week in this app, pay 5,000 an hour to tell your money problems to Ciku Muiruri, to get best advice, netizen tweeted.
“I’am clinical psychologist with degree in clinical psychology working under Kiambu county and trust me, I have never charged that much for a session,” another netizen tweeted.
