The Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, has rescheduled the re-opening of universities and colleges from September to January 2021.
He said most of the universities were unprepared and would have not met the set protocols by September.
While speaking to the press today Thursday July 30, he said officials will continue to inspect the institutions.
“The Ministry will continue inspecting institutions to ensure they are ready for re-opening in January 2021. Universities should however, continue offering online programmes, including examinations and graduation,” said Magoha.
