On Monday, 21 December 2020, the Deputy President’s wife Rachael Ruto sent a special message to Deputy President William Ruto as he celebrated his 54th birthday.
Taking to social media, Rachael expressed her love to the DP for the life they have shared, adding that they were also celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The Deputy President and Rachel got married in 1991 when the second lady was just 23 years old.
“It fills me with great joy to celebrate another year of life with you. Today, we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary. You are passionate, loving, kind and have been a great father to our children,” Rachael wrote on social media.
She mentioned the struggles and successes they had been through together, and she was grateful that she had gone through life with the Deputy President.
“Doing life with you has been the greatest adventure of my life & I’m eternally grateful to have you in my life. Happy birthday,” she stated.
