Echesa speaks on fraud scam

As the DCI detective investigates 14 staff members identified from the office of the deputy president involving the former sports CS Rashid Echesa.

The detectives doing their investigation, have grilled only seven of these members and more persons of interest are identified who’s yet to be summoned.

Mel Miendo following this story has had a one on one interview with the said Rashid Echesa who was in court on allegation of; felony, obtaining money through false pretense and making a document without authority.

In an interview with Mel Miendo from NTV, Echesa dares the DCI to prove if he has signed any document to this effect endorsing anyone on this deal.

At his palatial home, Echesa urged the DPP to follow due procedure and use any evidence incriminating him In court on the military tender.

Rashid Echesa later claimed that the narrative of 40billion fraud tender is pure politics citing that the government complainant known as Stan has been his friend.

He later proceeds by saying that his family and Stans are well conversant and Stan has been traveling to Kenya with a tourist VISA.

Echesa later claims that he and the deputy president are friends and they have been friends for long emphasizing that he doesn’t need an appointment to visit his friend.

As the investigation continues Echesa insists that he is innocent while the matter continues raising qualm roping the deputy president.
