Edgar Obare Arrested And Taken To Gigiri police station

Well known blogger Edgar Obare was recently summoned by the DCI and yesterday he was arrested at his home in Kisumu.

On his Instagram stories he posted:

As I said earlier I was summoned by the DCI. Today morning I was arrested by very many officers at my home. Now am headed to Nairobi. Thank you for your undying support.”

Earlier today, he updated that he was at Gigiri police station awaiting interrogation. He also thanked his fans for the undying support.

He had earlier said he was being summoned for the rumours on Natalie Tewa dating Governor Joho that he ran on his page.

So yesterday, I was informed I am being summoned to the DCI. I was kindly requested by an officer to appear at the DCI HQ without fail in the next few days. I am told the purpose of this summon is to answer questions about Natalie Tewa,“ he said
