Controversial blogger Edgar Obare has been arraigned in court today. He appeared before the judge at Kiambu Law courts and was charged with disclosing personal details of Youtuber Natalie Githinji aka Natalie Tewa.
Edgar pleaded not guilty to the accusations. The court was adjourned to 2pm where he was finally released on a cash bail of Ksh 100,000. He was represented by his lawyer Kepher Ojijo.
Edgar was arrested in his home in Kisumu on Friday. He had run Natalie Tewa’s story on his Instagram linking Natalie to Mombasa governor Joho.
Natalie had threatened to sue Edgar Obare and she clearly kept her words. As they say “Kenya iko na wenyewe.”
