Managing Editor of Nation Media Group’s Broadcasting Division Emmanuel Juma has quit working at the station.
On Friday, December 11, Nation Media Group released an internal memo announcing that Friday, January 1, 2021 was Juma’s last day on NTV.
The notice also mentioned that NTV’s morning show host and former BBC editor Joseph Warungu had been selected to fill the position on an interim basis.
“This is to inform you that Emmanuel Juma, our Managing Editor for NBD (Nation Broadcasting Division) will no longer be with us from January 1, 2021.
“The Consulting Editor, Mr. Warungu will handle the duties of the Managing Editor’s office in an interim capacity. Kindly do accord him all the necessary support,” read the memo.
Emmanuel Juma, who also hosts the popular Bulls Eye program, has been with NTV for 15 years since the show began in 2005.
