Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament snd business man Kalembe has passed on at Nairobi Hospital.
It is said the politician breathed his last on Sunday May 29 2020 at the wee hours while receiving treatment at the Hospital.
Confirming his demise, the former lawmaker’s family said the 57-year-old succumbed after struggling with a long illness.
Earlier reports indicate the former Tourism and Wildlife assistant Minister had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
His body has since been moved to Lee Funeral Home morgue for the preparation of his burial.
The deceased’s family explained he had been hospitalized two weeks ago but after release, his condition worsened.
“He was discharged from hospital two weeks ago, but his health deteriorated later and he was taken back to hospital. He has passed on,” said one of the family members.
In April 2021, Ndile had expressed his interest in replacing Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura as the People Living with Disability representative in Parliament following his road accident in 2017 that left his right thigh broken.
He was involved in the accident in September 2017, when his vehicle collided head on another car at Devki area along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
