The Garissa Governor, Ali Korane has been set free on sh 5 million bond or sh 3.25 million cash bail after being charged with corruption earlier today.
The lawmaker was ordered to leave his passport in court and barred from accessing county offices.
He had been accused of misappropriation of part of sh 233 million from world bank. He and the other 4 accused were charged with conspiracy to commit an economic fraud.
They however denied the charges before chief magistrate Douglas Ogoti.
