Police investigations into the death of a county worker exposed an illegal gay sex house in Pipeline Estate, Nairobi.
The body of the government worker was found partially decomposed in an apartment in Pipeline Estate.
The house is run by a group of men who attract members of the LGBTQ+ community to the Eastlands estate promising them a “good time.”
The gang identifies its victims through a dating site populated by gay men across the country.
Two foreigners also fell victim to the gang. A Greek national told the police that he had been approached by one of the gang members.
He met the unidentified man at the dating site, and agreed to arrange a meeting with him when he flew into the country.
According to the tourist, things changed after agreeing to accompany his Kenyan “friend” for supper in Pipeline estate.
The two tourists reported that they had lost valuables and cash amounting to Sh722,000.
The four men who rented the apartment in Pipeline fled.
