Renowned gospel Musician Pst. Beloved John Apewajoye and husband to Ruth Matete former TPF winner and Gospel artist has died.
“My Husband Beloved John Apewajoye has gone to be with the Lord..I humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time.” Said Ruth in a heartbreaking post on her facebook page.
News reaching our desk is that Pst. John Apewajoye succumbed to severe burns he sustained from an accidental gas explosion that occurred at their home in Greatwall Gardens, Athi-River.
“He was rushed to ICU but unfortunately we lost him.” Said a source.
It’s been barely a year since Ruth married John in a colourful wedding that was attended by close family and friends.
John was a gospel musician who did songs such as ‘I beleive and Hallowed be Your name.’
Ruth together with her husband were ordained Pastors at Christ Nation Church located in Thika Road.
