“How can a father possibly be prouder my son” Gilad to firstborn son.

Gilad a former Israeli deputy ambassador is currently a singer in Kenya. After working as a journalist, he became a diplomat in 2003. Gilad served in Nairobi and Los Angeles before leaving Israel’s Foreign Ministry in 2008 and settling in Nairobi permanently.
Gilad who was seen penning down a very emotional message for his son for his choice to return to Israel alone, since the family has since settled in Kenya. Gilad is seen as a very proud father to his 20 year old son for the choice he has made to go and serve his country Israel alone!
On his Instagram page Gilad wrote:
“But this is the choice you made, to be a real Israeli, to return to #Israel alone and serve your country as a lone soldier and as you say, to aim as high as you can and give it your all I ask God to protect and keep you healthy, safe, happy and strong! Counting the days till I can hug you again Love you to the moon and back – Your very proud Dad!” said the former Israeli Diplomat.
Back in Kenya Gilad says he does his music for passion, Gilad too has a good job and according to him he doesn’t have to make any money in music at all. Even when he performs with the Calabash band. But when his music starts making tangible income, he has a foundation with his family called Israel for Kenya, in honor of his late father. His music revenue will be channelled there to help poor people in Kenya, especially on agricultural development.

From this it is indeed clear that Gilad is a man with good intentions for others and his first born son could just be doing the most learning and taking after the father. All the best to him!
