Huruma Police Commander the late Simon Ndeti

Huruma Police Station Commander (OCS) Simon Ndeti was found dead on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at his home in Huruma Estate.

According to his colleagues, the OCS complained about his health the previous day.

Although the cause of death was not immediately established, officials from the Ministry of Health arrived at his house to collect samples for a Covid-19 test.

Ndeti is said to have worked all night, and at 2am he went to his home, which is just a few meters away from the station.

“Today, we have lost OCS from Huruma Nairobi, Simon Ndeti. Previously, he was OCS at Karatina. He has been feeling unwell and today morning he was found dead in his house. May his soul RIP,” one of his colleagues stated.

Sad news this morning, Rest in peace my neighbour. I was living with him in the same flat,” mourned one of his neighbours.

Ndeti previously served as Karatina Police Commander where he worked for many years before his transfer to Nairobi.
