Just 2 minutes into the game, Bruno Fernandez scored from the penalty spot putting United ahead but Tanguy Ndombele responded 2 minutes later leveling the match again. Son Heung Min widened the gap in the 7th minute as he put Spurs 1-2 ahead.

Anthony Martial was given matching orders after he was shown a red card for fouling Eric Lamella. Harry Kane and Son Heung Min went ahead and scored again before halftime making the scores 4-1 in favour of Spurs.

Serge Aurier capitalised on the devils’ defending mistakes and scored in the 51st minute as Harry Kane sealed their victory before the stoppage time by scoring from the Penalty spot making it 6-1.

Spurs are yet to use the services of Gareth Bale who arrived in London from Real Madrid. The striker is still nursing an injury and may be back after the international break.
