The Jubilee Party is set to crack whip four nominated Members of County Assembly (MCAs) in Kajiado county after they opposed the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) bill.

The four members identified as Onesmus Ngogoyo, Faith Sianka, Winnie Lanoi and Lucy Mathenge had been nominated by the party weeks ago and will face disciplinary action over what’s termed as disloyalty.

According to a letter by Secretary General Raphael Tuju to the ward representatives, he accused them of gross misconduct and violation of the party’s code of conduct.

Despite the said County Assembly to have endorsed the BBI bill, the MCAs were singled out for voting against party position yet they were expected to remain loyal to it after it awarded them jobs.

Tuju asked the MCAs to defend themselves within seven days failure to which the party will take action against them.

In February, Jubilee had cracked whip six nominated senators allied to the DP.
