Bony Mosh. He’s a K.D.F soldier turned Gospel singer and we have seen him become famous on radio by building his career the old-fashioned way. That means endless writing, promoting and rejection before finally getting that chance — and boy did he ever make the most of it. He’s currently flying high with his single, “Father God” and has already done a collaboration with Ole Willy pending release.

“I am very committed to my duties as a soldier. But due to self belief and support from my superiors, I am able to develop my music career. Other talented youth should do the same,” Bonny Mosh told Word Is.

The 25-year-old Senior Private, whose unit is based at the Kahawa Garrisons, spent a whole year in Somalia fighting the al Shabaab militia in 2012.

Bonny Mosh has just released his latest single and video dubbed Father God, produced by Homeboyz and video shot by Ogopa Deejays.

“I used to be a secular artiste before I got saved in 2010. I managed to release six singles with Calif Records. I have a couple of other songs coming up, among them a collabo with DK Kwenye Beat. It’s a challenge juggling between my tasks in the military and music, but God enables me to do it. My bosses and colleagues are very supportive and I can’t thank them enough,” he said
