Kenya 7s Star Oscar Dennis Involved In Hit And Run Accident

Kenya Sevens Rugby Star Oscar Dennis was involved in a hit and run accident while riding his bicycle.

The incident occurred at the junction of Bogani and Quarry Lane in Karen before the motorist drove off.

The incident was confirmed by the Kenya Rugby Union, after issuing a statement on Wednesday, 11 November, wishing him a quick recovery.

“We would like to confirm that Kenya Sevens player Oscar Dennis sustained leg injuries after being hit by an unidentified motorist while riding his bike in Nairobi on Tuesday evening. He is undergoing treatment and we wish him a speedy and full recovery,” read the statement from KRU.

Eric Njiru a journalist from Raga House also revealed that the player sustained serious injuries.

According to reports, the driver took off and Dennis was rescued by one of the security guards, but could not locate the driver.

Appeals have been made to the public to provide information on the motorist or any eyewitness who might have been present at the scene of the accident.
