Long Friday With Blackout To Be Experienced In some Parts Of The Country

Quite a number of places will be facing a long day with no electricity. The Kenya Power and Lighting Company have given a notice with areas likely to experience the disruption.

Sections of Nairobi area (Part of General Waruingi). The electricity interruption will be from 9 am to 5 pm.

The outage will see areas like Muratina Road, Starehe Boys Center, General Waruingi Road and adjacent people go without power.

Homabay county, Nyangiela area will also be disrupted from 9 am -to 6pm. Places that will be in blackout are said to be  Nyangiela, Nyangoa, Oriri, Ombek, Fred Chanam, Alero Nanga, God Kwach, Ragwe and adjacent people.

Parts of Meru county also will be affected from 9am to 5 pm. The affected victims are advised to brace themselves
