Two pastors have passed away after a car hit a motorcycle they were riding on downhill in Kirinyaga.
It is reported the car which was heading Sagana from Nyeri, was overtaking another vehicle when it had a head on collision with the motorbike killing the pastors instantly.
According to one of the witnesses, the two servants of God were dragged 200 metres away from the spot hence they couldn’t survive.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Karatina Hospital mortuary while the car that hit them was towed to Sagana police station.
The driver is in custody for further interrogations and will face the law. It is said hardly a week passes before an accident occurs on the same route.
The police commander in the area has urged motorists and drivers to be careful while driving.
