The Ministry of Devolution sent eighteen officials home on Monday 3 August to self-isolate for two weeks after testing positive for COVID-19.
In a memo signed by Principal Secretary Charles Sunkuli, the tests were conducted on July 23 on 128 samples and 18 turned out to be positive.
“The purpose of this memo is to request you to inform all officers working in your department to self-isolate themselves for the next two weeks,” part of the memo read.
They are to self-isolate until 16th of August and will be back on 17th for another mass testing.
