Yesterday evening a document emerged online that stated that the Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho had left the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) leaving most of his fans confused. This saw some urging him to join the Deputy President as he fights for state house.
Governor Joho penned in his social media informing that the letter claiming that he has resigned should be termed fake.
“The Party is Strong” read a post by the governor.“We thrive in truth, fake news is not our thing,” the party said and uploaded an image of the letter inscribed ‘Fake News’. He added.
This report came only a day after the ODM candidate in the Msambweni by-election Omar Boga presented his nomination letters to the IEBC for the Msambweni By-Elections. The candidate is said to be accompanied by Hassan Joho and a host of other ODM leaders.
