Nairobi Members of the County assembly are expected to elect the deputy speaker on Tuesday 15 September after DP speaker John Kamangu resigned last week.
The majority and minority side have made a deal to share the positions of the speaker and deputy speaker and its to be sealed today.
This is after Speaker Beatrice Elachi resigned last month and a new speaker, former Makadara Mp, Benson Mutura elected.
The voting will be done virtually with only the house leadership and few members appearing in the chambers.
Baba Dogo MCA is reported to be the candidate for the position after being endorsed by ODM Party and Jubilee side.
