PARENTHOOD; T.I Checks Daughter’s Virginity Annually!!

As a woman, more so a young lady is who is getting introduced to the leisure’s and getting to explore the world in various aspects in terms of sexuality and getting to be self-aware and owning yourself, the least you could do in the wake of father daughter relationship is to open with your father on your virginity!

Now imagine this, T.I does an annual check on daught Deyjah to check if her virginity is still reserved, basically to see if her hymen has been broken!! Opening up on the red table hosted by Will Smiths wife Jada Pinketh smith, T.I and wife Tiny Were the guests apparently to shade some light on a topic and issue that has been received with a lot of criticism.

In his defense T.I tried to explain himself to clear the air on the controversial act, on a table of discussion that wife Tiny Was seen to be almost silent and Willow Smiths daughter conspicuously missing due to the insensitive comments that were to come on board!

To explain this T.I, an American rapper termed the act as Hymengate annual procedure that his 18 year old daughter Deyjah visits the gynecologist’s office to ensure she is virgin, according to him the comments about daughter were made in a joking manner, even though they sentiments came from a place of truth, the conversation has deeply been misunderstood and misconceived, as per the daughters view Deyjah, She understands who he is and all that was being done was meant to protect her as a child.

Asked if the mother was always present, the rapper was quick to confirm the same and even going further to paint the scenario, by stating clear that he doesn’t go into the examination room, but the mother does. Then why did you take so long to address such a sensitive issue that has sparked a lot of controversy about your parenting, Jada asks , but the rapper T.I still defend himself but quoting daughter who apparently had told him to Let it pass.

In conclusion Jada shared some nuggets on how her and will parent their daughter Willow, According to Jada a daughter should be genuinely receive love and protection from the Father, but let the mother do the teaching since they are all of the same gender there is a lot of similarities and knowledge to be passed down on various issues surrounding womanhood.

Also the hymen that protects a women’s virginity could be broken by various things and doesn’t necessarily have to be sexual, these include but not limited to horse riding, bicycle riding and even an accidental slide on slippery floor, hence men need to be schooled on how to bring up and parent their children of the opposite sex to avoid trauma due to the sensitivity surrounding each gender.

To you reader would you subject your daughter to such procedures just for you to confirm on her eighteenth birthday that her hymen in intact, is this meant to protect your daughter or will this be for your own selfish ego?
