19-year old Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo has officially been nominated for the global E! People’s Choice Awards for African Social Star 2020.
The People’s Choice Awards is an American award show, held annually, that honours people in entertainment.
Majimbo is popularly known for entertaining her fans through short comical videos on her social media pages.
The winners are chosen after they have been voted by the fans on the awards website. The awards are based in the USA.
“So honoured to be the youngest ever personality nominated for E! Peoples Choice Awards, African Social Star category,” Majimbo posted.
However, Majimbo is facing stiff competition from other nominees in the category including Nigerian Dimma Umeh, South Africans Zozi Tunzi, Karl Kugelmann and Thuso Mbedu and Ghanaian Lydia Forson.
Majimbo is also in the same competition with South African hitmaker Sho Madjozi.
