Huge fires destroyed properties worth millions of shillings in Umoja’s Tena Estate in Nairobi county.
The huge fire broke out around 7pm on Friday, March 26, and spread through several residential buildings, business stalls, clubs and private homes.
The popular Jam Club along Outering Road was among the properties razed down by the fire whose cause is yet to be established.
Firefighters from the Nairobi county government arrived extinguished the blaze, but valuables worth millions had already been gutted.
The inferno sparked fear among locals who are yet to come to terms with the trail of destructions it caused within hours.
Huge traffic snarl-ups were witnessed along the busy Outring Road for the better part of Friday evening.
