ODM Leader Raila Odinga has finally returned to the country after spending two weeks in Dubai where he had beeen receiving medical treatment.
It’s said he returned in the country using the Jet that was used by Mombasa governor Joho and Suna MP Junet for the Dubai visit.
Delighted to see my party leader Baba Raila Odinga looking fit and in high spirits after undergoing the surgical procedure in Dubai last week. We in Mombasa and the country at large continue to pray for his speedy recovery and a safe return home,” Joho tweeted.
The jet was scheduled for a trip on Sunday to Zambia but was diverted to Nairobi, according to multiple aircraft tracking sites.
On first July, ODM party leader said he was feeling better and thanked everyone for messages of goodwill.
I’m feeling great and let me thank everyone who sent me messages of goodwill. Asante, Asate, Asante sana,” the former opposition leader tweeted on Wednesday.
