Ruth Matete’s Husband Finally Laid To Rest Three Months After His Death

Ruth Matete’s husband, beloved John has finally been laid to rest at Lang’ata Cemetery three months later after his death.

The body of Pastor John has been lying at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) Mortuary for three months.

Ruth Matete’s husband succumbed to fire injuries sustained from a gas cylinder accident at their home in Athi River.

The Nigerian Embassy in Kenya prevented the burial of his body due to unresolved issues.

The  Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had instructed the Kenyatta National Hospital not to release the body for burial saying they had been instructed by the Nigerian High Commission.

“We have received communication from the Nigerian High Commission requesting that the body should not be released until consent is granted by the Nigerian Government,” said DCI communication.

May his soul rest in peace.
