A teacher has hacked a colleague over a female university student who was on teaching practice at the school.
The shocking incident happened at Karoti Girls High School Mwea, Kirinyaga Countyon Wednesday March 3.
Police officers who rushed to the school to investigate the case have declined to reveal specifics on the cause of the clash between the two
They however,managed to restore sanity in the school as the occurrence had caused drama in the institution and uncertainty among the students.
It is also reported the teacher who was hacked sustained a deep cut across the head.
“The teacher was arrested and taken to Wanguru Police Station while the injured one was rushed to hospital. His colleague had hacked him with the panga,” said the officer.
