The Red devils Knocked Out Of The FA CUP by The Foxes

On Sunday evening, 21st March 2020, Manchester United recorded a humiliating beating in the hands of Leicester City that did cost them a position in the Semi finals of the FA Cup.

On the 24th minute of the match, a Manchester United player made a catastrophic error and Kelechi Iheanacho of Leicester seized the moment by rolling the ball into the back of the net from a close range making it 1-0 in favour of the Foxes.

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba in the 38th minute displayed a great vision by sending a pass to Mason Greenwood who in turn buried the ball into the back of the net leveling the match to 1-1 into the first half.


Barely 7 minutes into the second half, 52 minute of the match, Leicester’s Youri Tielemans weaved his way past the opponents then unleashed a magnificent effort from the edge of the box into the bottom left corner, United’s goal keeper Dean Henderson had no chance of reaching it to put the Foxes ahead again making it 2-1.

Marc Albrighton (Leicester) flighted a free kick into the box where Kelechi Iheanacho peeled off his marker and headed straight into the top of the net from the edge of the six yard box in the 78th minute making it 3-1 sending The Foxes to the semi finals.

The Foxes will face Southampton in the semifinals as Chelsea will face Manchester City then the winner of each respective match will face each other in the finals.
