So what exactly went down between Chipukeezy-Prezzo at Skyluxx? well, according to a local website, Pulse, the celebrated rapper CMB Prezzo had walked in with his entourage that included bad boy of showbiz, the money-flaunting Samba, Yahya and their girls.
At the VIP was ‘turn up king’ Shaffie, girl-about-town Vera and a number of other celebs as well as groupies and socialites who were here to attend the Art of Luxury show. As the clock struck midnight that Saturday, the crème-de-la-crème of the showbiz fraternity were present. Chipukeezy having made his reservation at the VIP section strutted in style, his girlfriend at the side.
He was as jovial, witty and comical as he posed for the paparazzi, his flame looked really jazzed. She smiled enviably, waving her weave after every pose. There was no question; these two lovebirds were here for a grand night. And all was well until 3am when Chipukeezy and his girl, who was at this point a bit sloshed, headed to their reserved table at the VIP. Vera and her friends among them Yahya’s girlfriend were in his spot. And as Chipukeezy made his way to his table, his girl still attached to his hip, he happened to push one of Prezzo’s boys and that is when the drama started. “You are fu** up and messing up with my team,” one of the guys in Prezzo’s clique warned as he drew a gun daring Chipukeezy to retaliate. Before our watchful eyes, war was unfolding.
It was then when Samba pulled a fast one, reigning blows on Chipukeezy, a dramatic split-second showdown that we partly got on camera. Standing up for her man, the now worked-up girlfriend to Chipukeezy took an empty Jameson bottle from the table and attempted to hit Samba. At the time, Shaffie was struggling to cool things down as bouncers joined in to settle down the fighting groups. So did Prezzo touch Chipukeezy’s babe’s assets and is this what this beef was all about? Earlier in the week, Chipukeezy had gone comical during the Churchill show, tearing into Prezzo for his visit to Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero as he compared the King of Bling with his showbiz arch-rival Jaguar.
Sources close to Prezzo told Pulse that this did not go down well with Prezzo. Even though Pulse could not confirm the information, it is said that on the night, as a heated verbal exchange ensued between the Chipukeezy and Prezzo teams, Prezzo attempted to touch Chipukeezy’s girlfriend’s butt to annoy Chipukeezy. The comedian’s girl attempted to retaliate with a bottle of Jameson. Just like Chipukeezy, Prezzo had swallowed one too many.
So who won? Well, Chipukeezy did. He reclaimed his table as Prezzo and his team was moved elsewhere.
