Twitter has been known to be rather political in every single way and in every country. Its been the platform where government individuals and organizations all around the world have been known to share and speak their mind freely.
The CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey found himself in a bit of a fix this week after the Head Of Site Integrity, Yoel Roth was aired by FOX who claimed that Yoth had posted some inflammatory tweets concerning Trump and other politicians.
FOX had said:”Roth has previously referred to Trump and his team as “ACTUAL NAZIS,” mocked Trump supporters by saying that “we fly over those states that voted for a racist tangerine for a reason,” and called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a “personality-free bag of farts.” Last August, Twitter suspended McConnell’s Twitter account, prompting the GOP to threaten to cut off advertising on the site until Twitter relented.”
Jack Dorsey responded stating that he had a crucial obligation to the world to remain as transparent and as truthfully possible but it did not make them an ‘arbiter of truth’. “Fact check: there is someone ultimately accountable for our actions as a company, and that’s me. Please leave our employees out of this,” Dorsey said. “We’ll continue to point out incorrect or disputed information about elections globally. And we will admit to and own any mistakes we make.”
