Two Campus Students Found Dead Inside Their Rented House

Two campus students who are said to be a couple were found dead in their rented house in Majengo area near Thika Primary School, Thika town.

The two were students at a university in Kiambu County.

According to neighbors, the stench that was coming from their house prompted them to break into their the room where they found two bodies decomposed.

The witnesses revealed the lady had a slit throat while the male’s body was found hanging from the roof.

It is believed that the male student stabbed the lady several times before committing suicide inside the locked house.

Neighbors further told the officers, they last saw them together without any signs of conflict on Sunday, March 29.

The Police and public health officials took their bodies to General Kago mortuary as authorities launched an investigation into the incident.

This  incident happened just a few days after police on March 28, arrested Eric Mwenda Mutwiri in connection with the murder of Celestine Nduku, a 26-year- old who was found dead in her apartment at Kambi ya Juu, Isiolo County.
