Two suspects have been arrested for allegedly luring innocent citizens with fake nursing job posts.

The two identified as Martin Wabale and Richard Wafula were nabbed by detectives stationed at Langata and Karen.

DCI boss George Kinoti, via twitter said a man was enticed to a deserted street in Karen-Miotoni road where he was defraud.

The two suspects made away with his mobile phone, glucometer, dust coat and cash, among other valuables at gunpoint.

“The two suspects who fled from Nairobi after the incident were arrested at Kimilili in Bungoma County,” said the DCI.

Boss Kinoti claimed the two might belong to a wider syndicate that operates by enticing victims to profit-making job posts.

“…and after the victims show up, they direct them to secluded areas whereby they rob them at gunpoint. Further check on their social media pages reveal public public outcry from victims,” he added.
