President Uhuru Kenyatta asked any person he might have offended for forgiveness today during the National Prayer Day held at the Nairobi State House.

While speaking at the end of the interfaith prayer meeting, President Kenyatta stated that he had forgiven anyone who might have offended him.

He said that the theme of the day was thanksgiving and repentance.

Hiyo ndio njia ya kusonga nakuendelea mbele,” he said.

He appreciated health workers and main service providers in the country for their efforts to curb the global Covid-19 pandemic in Kenya.

“I’d also be wrong if I did not thank all our leaders, those we have been in the cabinet together, all our county governments and including leader from various political parties, if it were not for the unity of purpose, we would not have come this far.” he stated.
