Rising health issues have invaded the Coastal area after studies have shown that young people aged 23 and below are constantly visiting Viagra chemists.
Sources reported on Saturday, November 28, that young men and women were steadily taking the pill with renewed taste, with Chemists reporting high sales between Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The study also suggested that some of the frequent clients were women, but it was not clear whether they were using the drugs themselves.
“Our sales spike from Wednesday till Saturdays. Some of the clients are tourists, who buy and them here cheaply and resell in their countries. Many others get them for use here in Kenya.Â
“Women from Nairobi buy the most Viagra, although averagely, men make most buys, especially in the areas of Diani,” a chemist attendant explained.
A single drug pill is estimated to be available for retail between Ksh100 and Ksh1,000 in chemists and pharmacists, based on the type.
