The Kenya premier league champions, Gor Mahia are facing a legal suit after shortchanging Betking on a sponsorship deal.
Betking had offered the club 30 million Kenyan shilling sponsorship deal which they failed to sign after being awarded with 15million Kenya shillings down payment.
Gor Mahia opted to sign a contract with their current sponsors Betsafe on a 50 million shilling deal.
A source has it that with all this transaction Gor Mahia official only managed to pay players a month salary.
“It is a serious issue and Betking are going to take legal action against Gor Mahia for taking their money and refusing to sign their deal,” said our source.
