Six Suspects Arrested For Human Trafficking

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI ) officers have rescued 16 foreigners along Marsabit-Isiolo Highway who were being ferried.

Six suspects were arrested in connection to the alleged human trafficking crime. They were apprehended while ferrying the foreigners in 3 vehicles.

The six suspects are identified as :

1. Jamal Ali
2. Somo Wario
3. Abdullahi Mohammed
4. Abbas Yusuf
5. Abdi Majid Hassan Abdirahman
6. Mahammed Ahmed.

The US government had earlier accused the Kenyan government for not doing much to end human trafficking.
