Morgan Freman thinks marijuana should be legalized “across the board,” and is very candid about his own use of the drug: “I’ll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it!”
The veteran actor, who stars alongside Diane keaton in his latest film “5 Flights Up,” opened up about his position on marijuana in an interview that started getting noticed on Monday.
“My first wife got me into it many years ago. How do I take it? However it comes! I’ll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it! This movement is really a long time coming, and it’s getting legs — longer legs,” Freeman said. “Now, the thrust is understanding that alcohol has no real medicinal use. Maybe if you have one drink it’ll quiet you down, but two or three and you’re f–ked.”
The world knows Morgan for his distinctive voice and amazing acting talent. What they don’t know is that he is in constant pain, all due to a 2008 automobile accident that left his left shoulder, arm and elbow completely shattered! He reportedly still feels the effects of that horrible incident, and has found that smoking pot helps relief the pain.
“Marijuana has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain [his left] arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana,” Morgan said. Though he’s currently a longtime user, it took some convincing to get the Bruce Almighty star to light up.
