Former Prime minister and current cord leader,Raila Odinga,yesterday turned 71 and his staff members and and some other MPs and artists decided to treat him to a surprise birthday party at his private office here in Nairobi.
Among those present was gospel artiste, Papa Dennis, Sadat Muhindi of Maliza Umaskini, comedian Mdomo Baggy and Homa Bay women’s representative, Hon. Gladys Wanga.
The Veteran politician went ahead to cut the cake before the family and friends who were present and he seemingly was more joyous about it.
Earlier yesterday, his eldest daughter, Rosemary Odinga, took to social media to wish him a happy birthday.
“Happy Birthday to you Dear Dad. Thank you for being the best history teacher I ever had, you are the coolest,” she wrote.
