The Teachers Service Commission has announced recruitment of 5,000 teachers to fill vacancies in both secondary and primary schools.
Through an advertisement published in a local daily on Tuesday, TSC said the new posts will support 100% transition from primary to secondary.
The teachers who will be recruited will serve on permanent and pensionable terms of services.
Interested and qualified persons are requested to submit their applications online through the TSC’s website not later than September 14, 2020.
Successful applicants will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not particularly from the county they’re recruited from.
It is also seeking to promote and deploy 1000 public primary teachers. Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, must be a P1 holder certificate and registered with TSC.
