Her best friend Lou Teasdale stayed with her on Valentine’s Day after the star had been left terrified and frightened when she learnt prosecutors were not going to drop her case.
Her friend had popped out to the shops and Flack took her own life within minutes of her friend leaving the property.
Lou had volunteered to be at her side after family and friends grew increasingly concerned about Flack’s welfare.
Responding to reports that an ambulance was called to the presenter’s address the day before she was found dead, a London ambulance service spokesperson said:
“We were called shortly after 22.30 on 14 February to a residential property in north London.Crews attended and, following a clinical assessment, the person was not taken to hospital. Due to patient confidentiality we cannot comment further.”
