Even after the saddening and tragic death of his sister on Sartuday evening,Andrew Amonde,the Kenya rugby 7s captain still manages to steer the team to victory for the 2016 olympic qualifiers in Rio.
He took to social media to mourn his sister Eva Amonde where he posted an emotional message of farewell and goodwill accompanying it with a photo of the deceased.
He scored a try despite the low esteem giving the team an upper hand in the qualifiers. The team has now made it to the line up of the teams which will battle it out at the 2016 championships.
Most Kenyans are sending messages of condolence to stand with family and friends of the deceased during this trying moment.We honour and respect you captain for taking this country to where it belongs in rugby.May the Almighty see you through this challenging moment.(R.I.P sister Eva)
