The blues have been under pressure to find a left back Emerson Palmieri and Marcus Alonso failed to impress Frank Lampard.
The Club legend and manager, Frank Lampard has been looking for a long term replacement of the pair after reports emerged that Emerson would be leaving the club.
He had identified Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell as the perfect replacement but the foxes were reluctant to compromise on their demands for their left back English star rated at 80M pounds.
Chelsea has been having negotiations with Leicester but it appears to be a stumbling block on meeting the demands. The blues are unwilling to pay 80M pounds for the services of Ben.
It now seems they are eyeing Nicholas Tagliafico of Ajax. The 27 year old seems to be impressing the blues and are ready to table an offer to secure him.
