Eight Suspects Shot Dead In Industrial Area’s Robbery

Police officers shot eight suspected criminals who had broken into a godown at Industrial area Makadara sub-county on Sunday night.

According to police report, thieves had broken into Sihra Coffe Machinery Service and Gensham Wood Enterprises godowns and were packing goods into a waiting lorry.

“It was reported by the chief controller that there was a burglary and stealing at a go down along Lungalunga road opposite shell petrol station. Police officers from industrial police station swung into action,” read the police report.

However it is stated stated around 12 people were already armed with pistols and pangas and were executing the theft before the police arrived.

Four armed robbers are said to have escaped with bullet injuries. The bodies of the deceased were taken to City Mortuary.
