Reports suggests that Frank Lampard and Ngolo Kante’s relationship has gone cold in the recent weeks after the Chelsea Boss denied him time off to attend a friend’s wedding.
The French international was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, having been identified as a top target by former manager Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
When he arrived at Clairefontaine to meet up with the France squad last week, Kante is said to have appeared in good spirits after looking “grim” at Chelsea in recent weeks.
It is believed the Boss rejected his request to take a day off from Blues training to attend his friend’s wedding, a decision which he has struggled to accept and did send a message to the other players.
